1. Overview & Data Controller Identification

Welcome to Ontero ("Application", "we", "us", or "our"). Ontero is a specialized mobile Business Management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application created for business owners, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, and merchant managers to manage sales transactions, customer relationship records, inventory stock, and business expense records.

We are committed to full transparency and strict compliance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies (including User Data Policy, Permissions Policy, and Account Deletion Policy), the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

2. Data We Collect & Google Play Data Safety Disclosures

We collect and process only the minimum information strictly necessary to provide the core business management functionality:

A. Account Holder Information

B. End-Customer CRM & Commercial Records

C. Financial & Subscription Information

D. Device, Network & Diagnostics

3. Two-Tier Data Architecture: Data Controller vs. Data Processor Roles

Because Ontero is a B2B Business CRM tool, data handled in the application strictly falls into two distinct legal tiers under global data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA):

Tier 1: Account Holder Data (Where Ontero is the Data Controller)
This refers to the direct business owner/merchant using the app (your registration name, login email, password hash, store name, and subscription tier).
• Legal Role: Ontero serves as the Data Controller.
• Your Rights: You can directly update, export, or delete your account credentials at any time through the app or our deletion portal.
Tier 2: End-Customer CRM Records (Where Ontero is the Data Processor)
This refers to the third-party client records that the merchant enters and manages inside Ontero (your buyers' names, phone numbers, delivery addresses, order history, and notes).
• Legal Roles: The Merchant (You) is the Data Controller for your clients' personal data. Ontero acts strictly as a Data Processor (Service Provider) providing secure cloud storage and software tools on your behalf (GDPR Art. 28).
• Merchant Responsibility: The merchant warrants that they have a lawful basis (e.g. contractual necessity, legitimate business interest, or customer consent) to store client contact information and contact them via phone or WhatsApp.
• Strict Tenant Isolation: Every merchant's customer records are completely isolated in their own encrypted database partition. No merchant can ever view or access another merchant's client database.
• Zero Direct Contact by Ontero: Ontero never contacts, calls, messages, or markets to the merchant's end-customers. We never sell, mine, or monetize end-customer information.
• End-Customer Right to Erasure: Merchants can modify or permanently delete any end-customer record directly inside the app. When a merchant deletes their account, all associated end-customer records are permanently wiped in an immediate cascading purge.

4. Google User Data & Google API Services Limited Use Disclosure

When you choose to authenticate using Sign in with Google (Google OAuth 2.0):
