Account Deletion Instructions
In accordance with Google Play's Account Deletion Policy and GDPR "Right to Erasure", users of Ontero can permanently delete their account and all associated commercial and personal data.
Warning: Deleting your account is permanent and irreversible. All your stored records (customers, orders, inventory items, and expense histories) will be immediately and permanently erased from our production databases.
Method 1: In-App Direct Deletion (Immediate)
- Open the Ontero application on your Android device.
- Ensure you are logged in to the account you wish to delete.
- Navigate to the Profile / Settings screen.
- Scroll down to the Account Actions section.
- Tap Delete Account Permanently and confirm the prompt.
- Your account and records are deleted immediately, and your session is terminated.
Method 2: Web / Email Request (If App is Uninstalled)
If you have already uninstalled the application or cannot access your mobile device, please fill in the request below or email our data protection team:
Data Retention & Permanent Erasure Timeline
- Primary Database: Erased immediately upon processing the deletion command or within 48 hours of email verification.
- Stored Media & Photos: Any uploaded receipt or product images are purged permanently.
- Backups: Any residual encrypted database snapshots are fully overwritten within 30 days.
- Subscriptions: Please ensure you also cancel any active Google Play subscription through your Google Play Store → Payments & Subscriptions menu to prevent future automatic billing by Google.
